A very rare probably unique example of an RAF used chronograph, supplied by S.Smith & Son ltd, Trafalgar square London. Model number 250, watch number 358. This model 250 is not normally illustrated in the S Smith catalogues because the number was re-assigned from a nickel cased ladies pocket watch. Note the unusual signature position. The case is about 49mm and is all nickel, numbered 67999. The silver hallmarked emblem on the back is where it gets interesting. The Fly by night logo with the bat and bombs was in a later guise officially adopted by an RAF bomber sqaudron. Here the London hallmark is for 1918. Watch and chronograph in full working order. Original bevelled glass crystal.
