J W Benson tropical wristwatch by Smiths in a Dennison Aquatite case of approx 33.3mm in diameter with a chromed case top and steel screw in back. The thickness is 10.5mm.This has been fully overhauled.
This example has a 16 jewel movement with the cruciform cut out dust cap, and other JWB refinements. Case numbered internally, as are the Dennison markings, 131950 . These c series J W Benson watches were made both before and after 1953.
Movement number C206352. There is the usual wear to the chromed finish. Fitted with a xxl 18mm parallel calf strap in brown. We can change to a normal length if you prefer...
