SMITHS EARLY S SMITH & SON LTD SILVER SWISS MADE POCKET WATCH

A slim silver dress pocket watch signed by S.Smith on the dial. This is a Swiss made watch, the case stamped by Huegenin Freres. Imported by G.S. numbered 7015335/274. Import marks from the London assay office date to 1919. Cracks to the enamel dial. doesn't work, fault with hand setting and possibly the balance as well. Sold for spares or repairs, this is quite a rare movement, or as an example of a Swiss made S.Smith product. I haven't checked the run down, but with an extra wheel this may be an 8 day movement. Case diameter about 48mm.
